: Choosing a Market
Market Categories
Now that you've gotten the affiliate registration out of the way, I'm going to help you choose a market "The Deadbeat Way." I will make this as simple as possible for you by giving you some examples of markets that I've promoted that are proven to work.
I have broken things down into four categories of hot markets: Health, Money, Relationships, and Entertainment. These are the markets where people spend the most money online, so it makes sense as a deadbeat to focus on them.
Some niches within these markets contain elements of desperation, pain, or embarrassment. These elements make people shell out money, and thus you should consider targeting niches that address these negative emotions.
Health Niches
Stop Snoring
Let's say you have a husband and wife, and the husband snores. The wife is going to be literally losing sleep over this problem. Whether it be an obnoxious noise or something else entirely (such as freaking out about anxiety), when someone loses sleep, they shell out money. And they'll be awake looking for solutions, checking Google and YouTube for answers.
Back Pain
If you've ever had back pain before, it's something that will affect you throughout your entire day. I had this problem months ago. During martial arts practice, I wrenched my back the wrong way, and all I could do for three to four days was lie down in my bed because it hurt so bad. It made me want to die. When people feel like that, they get desperate and go online looking for solutions so that they can feel normal again.
Back pain is such a huge market, you can tap into a sea of people looking for all types of different products like inversion tables, exercise programs, and pain relief ordinance.
Excessive Sweating
If you've ever seen anybody walk around with sweaty armpits, it can be very embarrassing. Again, this is just another example of a problem people are willing to spend money on to resolve.
Bed Bugs
This is an issue that can affect people who travel and sleep in hotels. Bed bugs can infest your bed, and when you're sleeping they come out and bite your skin. They're really hard to get rid of. It's gross. If you're lying in bed thinking about these bugs that are going bite you while you sleep, you're going to be up all night having bed bug anxiety. So clearly this is another thing people will lose sleep over.
