Keeping It Simple
In this lesson, I'm going to show you how to use a video actor to create your traffic-driving videos. This is a very simple way to have your videos made for you if you don't want to create presentations or actually appear on camera.
What you're going to do is take one of the articles that you've written and convert it to video format. In order to do that, you literally just take the existing article and modify it just a little bit.
Here's a video script that I would use based on the skin tags article from lesson 9.
The only difference is that the script is going to address someone in particular. You're going to write the copy out to someone personally. The key to this, to make sure it all flows correctly, is to read it out loud. Once you read out each line, you'll know whether or not it's good for a conversational-style video.
Script Format
When you create these scripts, break up your article line by line. Otherwise, if you give them a huge paragraph, it's going to sound like they're reading it. You don't want the video to come off as something that's being read as they go along. You'll get a better idea by reading the sample script.
At the end of the script, you want your video actor to say your website URL. That's the call to action. Also mention that the user can get to the website by clicking the link underneath the video.
I usually have three call to actions:
1) Type in the URL
2) Click the link underneath this video
3) Go to your website URL to learn more
This just ensures the video converts the traffic in some way.
Once you have the script created, then you head on over to fiverr. Type into the search bar "video actor." It will display all of the video actors who will create your video for you. They'll act out the script you've created for them. Any actor will work, you just need to look at their portfolio to see whether or not they will work for you.
Sample Actor
Here's one of the actors. I'm not recommending you use this guy, I'm just picking this as an example.
He offers per $5 a 30 second video, which comes out to about 50 words. With a script of 200 to 250 words, it's going to cost you about $20 to $25. In the grand scheme of things, it's really not that much money because this is a video that's going to be put all over the internet, and you just need to make one affiliate sale to make the cost of this back. It costs a little bit of money, but it's done for you, and they're pretty good. So just look at the different video actors out there and find the one you think will give you the best bang for your buck.
These videos do turn out pretty nice, and they are a great option for you if you are not comfortable about getting on camera or you don't want to do any voice acting or slide presentation videos.
