The Most Important Step
What we have here is the most important step of the entire system. It's time to insert your affiliate link(s) into your review. If you don't do this, you won't be making any money. So make sure that you don't mess this up.
To begin, go back to the WordPress editor for the product review page you just created in the previous lesson. Now you need to grab your affiliate links.
If you are selling a product from MarketHealth...
Log into your MarketHealth account, find the product you have reviewed, then select the CPA offer.
Copy your custom Tracking Link (highlight the link, right-click, select "Copy") then return to WordPress. See below for an example, but DO NOT use the tracking link in the image. It is for demonstration purposes only, and if you use it you will not make any money.
If you are selling a product from Amazon...
First make sure you're logged into your Amazon Affiliate account. If you're not logged in, you won't be able to complete the next step. Then go to the product page, and at the top left you will see an option titled "Link to this page." Click it.
Select the "Text Only" tab, then copy the affiliate link from the HTML code in Box 3 as shown in the image below. The affiliate link is the part between the quote marks, and it has been highlighted in the image.
The affiliate link should look something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O10CT0Y/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00O10CT0Y&linkCode=as2&tag=12345&linkId=EYZCDAGWXI6QBJA5
The affiliate link SHOULD NOT include any additional text such as <a href=" or the title of the product.
Pasting The Link Into Your Article
To add your affiliate link to your product review, simply click the image, click "Insert/edit" link, and then just paste the link. I also suggest you select the "Open link in a new window/tab" box. That will help you get a few extra clicks. Then click "Add Link."
I like to make all images a link to the affiliate page. This is where you're going to get most of your clicks.
Conversion Tip: (use the ==>) This serves the link up on a silver platter.
Make the testimonials, I provided a little sentence that encourages the visitor to "Read More." And I've made that a link.
Click "Update."
When a visitor comes to your site and clicks on any of the links, they will be directed to the product purchase page. Whenever someone purchase the product, you will receive your commission.
